The Pumpkin Patch!

Since October is the month of pumpkins it only seems fitting that I take my kids to the pumkin patch!!! They had a blast climbing on the hay tower and playing in the grain pits. But I think that their favorite part was picking out their very own pumpkin!!!
PLaying in the Grain pit!!!

It's pretty high up here on the top of the haybale tower!

I'm king of the tower!!!

Some of the boys that rode in my car. Aiden and I

Damien and I... adn yes it was FREEZING that day!!!!

We also took a hay ride around the property!!! Luckily that day some planes were flying over and I got a shot to look pretty cool with my kids because I knew all kinds of stuff about those planes!! the boys thought that I was especially cool!!!

Well that's all for now, I'll keep posting!
Love you guys!!!

Tiger-Bolt Ladies Night Out!!

Well since our guys, the Tigers, and the other 15E squadron guys, the T-Bolts, are both gone the ladies decided we should have a TigerBolt Ladies Night Out!!! Well seeing as we live in Mountain Home, ID... there isn't a whole lot to do! So we went to the local watering hole and hung out for a while. It was really great to meet the wives in the other squadron.
This is Michelle and I, her husband was one of Nathan's instructors while he was in Georgia doing T-6's! She is in the T-Bolts!
Katie and Heather both are in the Tigers!
This is also another Katie that is in the Tigers and Beth's husband is in the T-Bolts! As you can see we had a decent turn out that night... there were more earlier but we didn't think to take a picture then!

Well there'll be more later!
Love you guys!

Gunfighter skys!!!!

Well Every year Mountain Home AFB holds a SUPER airshow! Sadly this time 2 of the 3 fighter squadrons are gone! Who does the planning for this stuff?!?? haha
But naturally the wives took up the slack and made sure we represented the Bold Tigers!!! I went with a friend Lara adn her two boys, Duncan (5) and Garrett (8). We checked out all the planes that they had on display there! I knew a couple of the pilots that were there from different bases from Nathan's pilot training days, so it was good to catch up with old friends! The day made me miss Nathan because he would have enjoyed it so much, but I know that he's having a blast on his deployment (probably because he's getting to fly ALL THE TIME!!!).

There will be more to come later!!!
love you guys!!

Tiger Stuffing!!!

Well I just got done with our first "First Friday" since the guys left!!! It was so much fun, the kids played in the bouncy castle and took turns being suprised and stuffing their tigers!!! The tigers had recorders to go with them that the guys had recorded messages on before they left!!! Nathan left one for me too, so I was as giddy as the kids were that day!!!! All in all it was a good day to be a Bold Tiger!

More to come later!
Love you guys!!!

August Fun!!!

Well August has been a busy month. We've been getting ready for Nathan deploying and I've been getting ready to start work!
Early in the month one of our friends kiddos had a birthday party that turned into a sendoff party for the guys!!! It was alot of fun!!!

Then Nathan and I went bowling as a last hurah before he left! We enjoyed ourselfs emmensly! haha

Last but not least I took katies kids skating for the day while she had to work! I had a blast being "my mom's coolest friend" according to 3 year old K-bo (his real name is Caleb but we call him K-bo!)
Well there will be more to come while nathan is gone!!! Later!

Vegas Baby!!!

When the wives found out that the guy were going for a simulated deployment at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas Nevada we immediately planned a trip! If the guys were going to Nellis on a Green Flag mission, the we were going on a pink flag mission! HAHA. Seeing as this was my first time in Vegas... well since I was like 6... I was pretty excited! What was even more exciting was that we got to stay at the Westin right off the strip on the Air Force's dollar. The guys were being housed at the Westin with King sized beds in their room, so why shouldn't the wives benefit from that!!!

The first night in Vegas the girls did their thing, and once the guys were finished flying they met up with us. Well by the time they got done flying this night is was late so we met up with them at an Irish bar called Nine Fine Irish Men! it happens to be a fighter pilot favorite! We watched a live Irish band and Girls dance traditional Irish dances!

The next day the guys had off so we just hung out with them. Nathan and I went to go see the Bodies Exhibit. It has been traveling the world and it happened to be in Las Vegas the weekend that I was there. It was really educational and creepy at the same time! Well that night the guys had a roll call and the wives went and got dinner and meet the guys after the roll call! Then we all went out to a place called 40 deuce, a 40's inspired dance club!

The next day the girls toured Vegas! We went to Madame Tussaud's, which is wax figures of famous people, and had a blast. Heather got married to George Clooney and we played bridesmaids!

Then later we went in the Venetian Hotel and walked around the mall in there where we found this sign. The guys loved that we took a picture of it!

Later that night, since the guys were night flying we ate dinner at Toby Keith's restaurant called I Love this Bar! The food and music was GREAT! The guys met us later for drinks and dancing, but it didn't last long because we were all exhausted!

Grandview Lake

Well ACC (Air Combat Command) decided to give the boys the day off on Monday the 7th so a group of us rented a boat at the marina and hung out on the lake for the day! Mary and Jeff joined us for the outing! Included with the boat were wakeboard, skis, kneeboards and tubes! We had a great time, even Mandi got in the water and tried kneeboarding!!!!

Nathan was a pro at the wakeboard getting up on his very first try!!!

Mandi however had a little bit of trouble getting up on the kneeboard. It wasn't until her second round on the kneebaord that she was able to get up on her knees!

Jeff was our amazing driver while we road in the tube together...

And Mary was very helpful in taking multiple photos and video throughout the day!

Unfortunately after our long day out on the boat Mary and I had to sit through the deployment briefing for the families... it was informative but sad! I'm glad that we went to it though, we learned so much about things to do while the guys are gone!!!

Well that is all for now!

Alabama Airshow!!!

Well Nathan finally got to do his first airshow!!!

Unfortunately he didn't get to fly in it, but he and a couple other guys were able to go down to Huntsville, Alabama and do the static display of the F15E!!

Nathan and a crew mate flew down to Huntsville for the weekend to be in the airshow! Nathan said it was pretty cool to have little kids come up and want his autograph! He also said that he didn't miss the summer humidity of the south, it must have been pretty bad out there!!!

June 08

Since moving here we have been meeting so many new people, and connecting with old friends too! The weather is awesome here, no humidity, and the sun doesn't set till almost 10!!! June has been mostly filled with unpacking and getting the new house set up. Fortunately there has been some time to hang out with friends!

One night this month we went to the local diner in town (the only diner in town) that serves burgers and shakes. We went with some friends who are bike enthusiasts!! Heather and Bill are the ones who actually told us about Grindy's and there AWESOME shakes! Here is just HOW good they are!

Well that is all for now

XOXO,

N&M and Kota too!
